In the evening of June 1, an armed man attacked Resorts World Manila, located opposite the Philippine International Airport. Later, the police found out that the hijacker, an inveterate player, armed with an assault rifle, tried to rob a casino in the hotel. First, the attacker opened fire, and then set the game tables on fire. Many people were blocked in the building, after which they died from suffocation due to a fire.
