This Wednesday, on February 13, the US Poker Open Championship starts in Las Vegas. The minimum buy-in is 10 000$.
The US Open is one of the largest series in the country. The price for entry to the tournament starts from 10 thousand dollars and reaches up to 100 thousand dollars.
In total, the festival will last 10 days and will consist of 10 different events, among them are No-Limit Hold’em and Omaha tournaments. In addition, the series will include two events on short deck poker (6+ Hold’em), which is gaining increasing popularity in the world.
The stars of world poker have already confirmed their participation in the series, including the most successful player of last year’s US Open Stephen Chidwick. In 2018 he won two out of 10 tournaments there, and he cashed in another five events. Thanks to these results, during one week Chidwick earned 1,2 million dollars.
On February 23rd, the festival will end with a prestigious 100 000$ super-highroller tournament. All the main events of the series will be broadcast live on Poker Go, which is available on a paid subscription.
