On a late Sunday evening, the final eighth tournament of the Triton Poker Super High Roller series was held with a buy-in of 130 000$. A total of 37 people took part in this event, and only four of them managed to get in the money. The strongest poker players played in the tournament and among them was Russian professional Timofey “Trueteller” Kuznetsov.
Basically, Trueteller specializes in online tournaments and his profit there is measured in millions of dollars. In live tournaments, Timofey won about 3 million dollars. The lion’s share of this amount was received in 2015 at the Super High Roller Bowl, where he took the fourth place and won 2 150 000$.
Thanks to the recent win, Timofey practically updated his record cash in live tournaments. He managed to win the event and get 1 834 000$ for it. In the final hand of the tournament, Russian professional beat Robert Flink from Sweden. His pair of jacks held out in a classic coinflip against AK of Robert.
