Alexandros Kolonias took first place in the World Series Poker Main Event which ws held at the one of the best casino in Europe King’s Resort. The prize fund of the tournament with a buy-in of €10,350 was €5,139,500. Alexandros won €1,133,678 in prize money as well as the coveted WSOP bracelet, which was the first in his career.
Kolonias arrived just one day before the main event and participated only in it. This is his first seven-figure career winnings. Prior to that, his biggest winnings were €800,000, which he won second place at the EPT Grand Final 2016. Alexandros Kolonias’ live prizes now amount to $3.7 million. Alexandros was born in Volos but now lives in London where he mostly plays online. He is known under the pseudonym “mexican222” and has already earned over $3.1 million online.
