Argentian player Damian Salas won the World Series of Poker $10,000 International Main Event Tournament. This year main event was held in a hybrid format. Damian Salas won the international part of the tournament and will face off against a player from the American part for $1,000,000 in prize money.

It is worth noting that this year there has already been held WSOP Online Main Event with the buy-in of $5,000 and it was won by Stoyan Madanjiev. Now many players are wondering, who is now the world champion in 2020? The organizers made a mistake as they themselves did not know whether the offline tournament would be held this year. Thus, the player who won the offline event can be considered the world champion. There were 674 players in the ME WSOP Main Event, with a total prize pool of $6,470,400.
