After 5 exhausting days of the game, the WPT Borgata Poker Open with a buy-in of $3500 has finished. Final day of the tournament started with 6 players, and when there were three players left in the game, the players made a deal. After all payments were adjusted, the players decided that 5 days was enough and moved all in blind for the title. Donald Maloney took first place in the tournament, and for his efforts he got $487,784.
“The last hand was pretty interesting,” he said. “The guys had decided that they were exhausted and really didn’t want to play anymore, so we decided to do a flip. It went runner-runner straight, so it was definitely meant for me to get the title and I’ll always remember it, I guarantee.”
