Frankie O’Dell won first place in the Hi-Lo Omaha tournament with a buy-in of $ 10,000. In this tournamnet took part 183 players. For Frankie O’Della, this is the third gold WSOP bracelet on Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, and thus he became the most titled player in this discipline, overtaking Scotty Nguyen, Daniel Alay and Chris Ferguson. For his victory, he received more prizes than for the two previous tournaments that he won – $ 443,641.
“There’s only one person in the WSOP who has three Omaha eight-or-better bracelets and you’re talking to them,” he said when asked where he stood among the top Omaha hi-lo players. “So, until someone passes me or catches me, I’m not gonna say nothin’. I’m just gonna leave it at three.”
