(06.11.2019) Isaac Baron Wins Opening Event Poker Masters.



In the first $10,000 tournament 97 players took part in the Poker Masters series. The prize fund of the tournament was $970,000, which was divided among 14 players. Stephen Chidwick was the first to win prizes. The winner of the tournament was Isaac Baron who received $223,100.

Sam Soverel, who excelled at the recent British Poker Open, fell in fifth-place when his eights proved no match for Baron’s aces. Soverel collected $77,600 for this result, taking his earnings for 2019 to almost $4 million. Following Soverel, Isaac Baron alternately knocked  Jeremy Ausmus, Ralph Wong out of the tournament and  Chance Kornuthin the heads-up, which lasted only 1 hand.
