Jack Sinclair won first place atd the Main Event of the WSOP Europe and received € 1122 239. The tournament was attended by 534 players, and the prize fund amounted to more than 5 million euros. Sinclair became the second English champion of the WSOP Europe, before this tournament was won by James Bord in 2010. In heads-up, he was confronted by Laszlo Bujtas, who received € 693,573 for second place. Ukrainian player Ihor Yerofieiev, who reached the final table with the smallest stack, took the sixth place.
“It’s like being in a dream at the moment,” said Sinclair after taking down the tournament. “The whole week has been absolutely insane; just super smooth and not like any other tournament I’ve ever played. I never really lost a big pot as far as I can remember and just got all the hands when I needed them.
