Red Dragon
Australian high roller Kahle Burns has added the most coveted prize to his already outstanding poker resume. Burns was the finalist at the WSOPE Event #8 €25,500 Platinum High Roller Final Table at King’s Resort, for which he received €596,883 and a WSOP bracelet. WSOP Main Event 2019 champion Hossein Ansan was close to winning second this year, but failed in third place. In the heads-up, Kahle Burns played against Sam Trickett, who finished second in the WSOP for the third time in his career.
“Yeah, it was sort of smooth sailing: a very fast final table. I was lucky to come in with the chip lead and sort of didn’t have any all-ins myself. Other people knocked themselves out and there was one hand against Sam [Trickett] where I sort of jammed light and both woke up with hands. That changed things a bit, but everything went fast and smooth, no complaints.”
