Louis “PokeThese” Lynch wins second WSOP event 2020

The 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online Bracelet Events on WSOP.com continued Thursday with Event #2: $1,000 NLH Deepstack 8-Max, a tournament that attracted 647 runners who rebought 272 times to create a 919-entry field ($873,050 prize pool).

The field was chock full of big names, but after 11 hours of play it was the unknown “PokeThese” coming out on top to win a $168,586 top prize. After official results were released on Friday, it turned out to be Louis Lynch from Sinking Spring, PA to become the latest member of the bracelet winners circle. Lynch has over $150,000 in lifetime winnings on The Hendon Mob and eclipsed his previous biggest score of $54,494 over three times.

Lynch defeated Fremont, CA’s Ryan “KOVID19” Ko heads-up, with the latter walking away with $104,242 for his efforts.
