The first tournament of the WSOP 2023 World Series of Poker has ended. The event was won by Peter Tai, who received a gold bracelet as well as $75,535 in prize money. The first World Series of Poker tournament was held exclusively for casino employees.

It is worth noting that this Event #1: $500 Casino Employees Event No-Limit Hold’em has become one of the largest tournaments for casino employees. A total of 1,015 people signed up for the event, and the prize pool was $426,300.
