Martin Ryan showed a phenomenal result and in just 2 years won 8 WSOP Circuit gold rings, 4 of them – in 2018. Thanks to this achievement, 57-year-old poker player has entered the top-10 best players in the history of the WSOP Circuit.

Currently Valentin Vornicu is the leader in the number of rings won – there are 12 of them on his record. Maurice Hawkins has one less ring, Joshua Reichard won 10 rings, Ari Engel, Robert Hankins and Alexandru Masek have 9 rings each, and, finally, 8 trophies for Chris Reslock and Martin Ryan.

Martin won his eighth ring at the end of November in the 400$ No-Limit Hold’em Monster Stack event at the Harrah’s Cherokee series in North Carolina. Together with the trophy, he received 70 000$ – this is the biggest prize money in the player’s career.

Overall, Martin cashed 33 times in the WSOP Circuit tournaments, three times in the International Circuit (on the Caribbean), and twice in the WSOP bracelet tournaments. And all these results he managed to achieve since the beginning of 2016. The sum of his winnings in the events of different stages of the World Poker Series is approximately 420 000$.

Ryan now has every chance of becoming the best player of the WSOP Circuit. However, he is going to take a long vacation and spend time with his family at home in Trinidad and Tobago.
