Sam Soverel has maintained his incredible shape in the high roller tournaments by winning the $25,000 Pot Limit Omaha tournament at the Poker Masters 2019. This victory brought him $340,000, and his points earned him a second place in the overall standings. In the heads-up,  Sam Soverel played against  Sean Winter, who had a significant chip advantage.

In an interview Sam said “I showed a good game. It was nice to play the decisive hand against Sean, as we’ve been dating at poker tables for over 11 years.

Chance Kornuth missed an opportunity to earn extra points in the leaderboard, finishing seventh with 5 prizes. Only 60 points separate Kornut and Soverell and this gap will be narrowed as Soverell reached the final table of the final event #8.
