20-year-old student Will Pengelly took first place in the Main Event WinStar River Poker Series. In order to take part in the final table, Will had to miss couples at the university. The victory in this tournament brought him $ 249,310. In the top 5 players decided to make a deal. Johnny Diaz got to the final table with the largest stack, but he did not play the game on it and he took 8th place.
Will Pengelly started playing WinStar since he turned 18. He decided to take part in the Main Event, despite the fact that he had wins in the tournaments.
“I think of tournaments kind of like the lottery,” he said. “Many people enter and one player wins a lot of money. Today, that happened to be me.”
